Your New Role: The Financial Analyst, Budget & Vendor Contract Budget is an integral part of budget stewardship in achieving the Global Information and Content Security (GICS) mission. This role is responsible for day-to-day management of the GICS budget, and collaborates with GICS leaders and stakeholders, as well as Finance, Procurement & Accounting (FP&A) partners to ensure financial reporting and purchasing processes are executed consistently.

Your Role Accountabilities:

Budget and Vendor Contract Management

● Work with GICS and leaders and Finance partners to prepare the annual

budget, and to resolve budget adjustments needed during the year

● Maintain accurate reporting of planned budget and actual variances for the

entire GICS team, and advise on adjustments needed

● Ensure unbudgeted costs are reviewed and approved prior to commitment

● Maintain an accurate and complete inventory and repository of all GICS third

party engagements, including renewal and license-related tracking

● Facilitate onboarding of GICS external resources as required

● Meet all Finance, Procurement & Accounting processes and requirements

related to budget reporting & forecasting and vendor engagements

● Support timely acquisition or renewal of vendor services as needed

● Challenge tool needs & renewals based on success criteria

● Create periodic and ad hoc executive reports of budget and/or vendor contract

information, as required.

● Other related tasks as required

Qualifications & Experiences:

● 5+ years experience and strong background in budget management,

accounting, and/or project management

● Financial management and Return on Investment analytical skills

● Strong understanding of budgets

● Attention to detail, and ability to identify & resolve or escalate errors and

incongruities

● Excellent command of Microsoft Excel and/or Google Sheets, including pivot

tables

● Strong English written and verbal communication skills, ability to adapt messages to the audience, and to deliver complex information clearly and concisely with the appropriate level of granularity Not Required but preferred experience: ● Bachelor’s degree in accounting, business administration, project management or a related field

● Familiarity with information security and/or information technology solutions, products and vendors
