Our products consistently influence the enterprise software industry by defining new standards for how our customers, internally and externally, relate to their daily work.

Required Skills:

Enterprise Engineer Responsibilities:

  1. Develop an understanding of the business functions, applications and systems.

  2. Collaborate with product managers, designers and other engineers to create software that optimizes for business metrics.

  3. Maintain consistent coding velocity to complete assignments and tasks with minimal help and direction.

  4. Own the code you and your team writes, including providing OnCall support and continuously improve to avoid major tech debt.

  5. Maintains effective communication with manager and other task relevant stakeholders.

  6. Participate in team and organization wide hackathons to rapidly develop proof of concepts, leveraging emerging technologies such as LLM (Large Language Models), supporting our learning fast culture.

Minimum Qualifications:

  1. Currently has, or is in the process of obtaining a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, relevant technical field, or equivalent practical experience. Degree must be completed prior to joining Meta.

  2. Demonstrates problem-solving skills, knowledge of algorithms and data structure.

  3. Proficiency in at least one of the Object-Oriented languages such as Java/C++/Python/PHP etc.

  4. Experience to quickly learn to develop front end and back-end applications.

Preferred Qualifications:

  1. Experience building systems in PHP, Java, C++ or JavaScript technologies such as ReactJS or AngularJS.

  2. Experience working with code bases building micro services, REST APIs, GraphQL.

  3. Experience building secure software with auditable access controls and permissions.
