Job Description

Insight Global is looking for an IT Specialist to join an air and ground transportation organization that provides organ transport logistics around the country. In this role, you will help ensure the technology strategy aligns with the company's business goals, manage IT projects, and ensure the security and efficiency of IT infrastructure for a growing company. We are looking for an individual with a strong technical background, excellent leadership skills, and the ability to drive IT initiatives that support business objectives. Other responsibilities include:

-Develop and implement IT policies and best practice guides for the organization.

-Manage and oversee the IT department's operations, including infrastructure, network systems, data security, and software applications.

-Lead IT projects, including the design and deployment of new IT systems and services.

-Monitor performance of information technology systems to determine cost and productivity levels, and to make recommendations for improving the IT infrastructure.

-Handle annual budget and ensure cost-effectiveness for the IT department.

-Ensure data security, network access, and backup systems are in place and effectively protecting data.

-Work closely with corporate office weekly for program alignment and efficiencies.

-Liaise with other departments to understand their technology needs and implement IT solutions to meet those needs.

-Recruit, train, and mentor IT department staff.

-Stay up-to-date with advancements in IT and applicable laws and regulations.

-Manage relationships with vendors and service providers to ensure contracts are fulfilled and cost-efficient.

-Manage security tools and technologies to protect the organization's networks, systems, and data.

-Manage and maintain Microsoft network infrastructure, including Active Directory.

-Maintain and administer the local Okta instance, ensuring seamless integration with Microsoft network infrastructure and overseeing user authentication, access control, and identity management processes.

Skills and Requirements

-3+ years of experience within IT dealing with computer

systems (hardware/software), networks, and information security.

-Excellent understanding of IT infrastructure, data center management, and data governance.

-Must be comfortable leading projects and have strong decision-making skills.

-Must be willing to work on-site Mon-Fri and have the flexibility to work as needed to support a business that operates 24/7. -Bachelor's degree null
