Responsibilities

MRO Operation Support

· Design and create tooling drawing to support MRO activities. Tooling includes assembly jigs, ground support equipment, shop tooling aids, machining fixtures, handling tools, etc.

· Create drawing and guidelines for tooling set-up and utilization.

· Liaise with internal and external machining facilities for tooling fabrication.

· Engage and coordinate with operation teams to ensure all MRO tools are well organized and good conditions. Ensure safe working practices.

· Trouble-shoot, provide engineering solutions and improvements for tooling technical problems.

· Support tooling periodical calibration for assembly jigs, load testing etc. Maintain and update calibration records.

· Support quality investigation, continuous improvement and innovation development.

Requirements

Education & Experience

· Degree in Mechanical/Manufacturing/Design Engineering. OR

· Diploma holder with 4-6 years working experience in Manufacturing and/or Tooling Design will be considered.

Skills

· Knowledge in machining and rapid prototyping would be beneficial

· Ability to interpret technical drawings, geometric dimensioning, and tolerance.

· Ability to use various measurement instruments.

· Proficient in MS Office and CATIA V5 applications

· Use of laser trackers for tooling calibration is added advantage

· Independent, self-motivated and able to work in a fast paced environment

· A team player with a positive attitude and keen interest to learn

· Good interpersonal and communication skills

Ability to multi-task, prioritize and manage time effectively.
