A Day in the Life of the Facilities Coordinator: Ensures the availability and working conditions of the building and equipment Maintains the inventory of supplies and equipment Implements safety and security standards throughout the facility Acts as the liaison of the organization's employees and external contractors Provides preventative maintenance and repairs to the building and equipment Handles work order requests and resolves problems immediately Cleans and maintains the work areas Approves the organization's weekly supply orders Establishes disaster action plans and evacuation plans Supervises the construction and renovation of the organization's facilities to ensure it complies with the environmental and health standards Performs administrative duties as assigned by the facilities manager Arranges for regular maintenance of equipment and internal systems (e.g. heating system, alarms, security cameras) Checks rooms and furniture to identify needs for repairs or renovations Designs and oversees the schedule for cleaning and disinfecting the building Monitors activities that happen outside the building, such as proper waste disposal and recycling Fixes minor malfunctions in office equipment Coordinates office and parking space allocation Other duties as assigned What You Bring to the Table: Work experience as a Facilities Coordinator or a similar role Strong knowledge of facilities management operations Familiarity with office equipment and security systems Hands on experience with facilities management software is a plus Understanding of safety regulations in offices Well-organized Sound judgment and the ability to think quickly during emergencies Required Education and/or Certificates/Credentials: High School Diploma or equivalent Valid Driver's License We're Proud to Offer a Comprehensive Benefits Package Including: 401k retirement plan, with employer match Insurance options including: medical, dental, vision, life and STD insurance Paid Time Off/Vacation: Starting at 80 hours per year, and increases based on tenure with the organization Floating Holiday: 40 hours per year Paid Holidays: 7 days per year Paid Sick Leave: Astound allows a number of paid sick hours per calendar year and varies based on state and/or local laws Tuition reimbursement program Employee discount program *Benefits listed above are for regular full-time positions The base salary range in WA State for this position is $22 - 26/hour, plus bonus and benefits as applicable.
