Schlumberger TLM Maintenance Manager in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil

The TLM Maintenance Manager is responsible to ensure on-time equipment delivery per operational demands.

Responsibilities:

• Mentoring and leadership on the TLM organization

• Review and analyses Maintenances reports and provide feedback to Operation Manager, Rig Superintendent, Rig Managers and head of Maintenance team.

• Promote the use of the deficiency reports, performs a detailed investigation on relevant Equipment/material deficiencies and associated problems. Co-ordinate the issue with the Rig Manager, Supervisors and the rig Dept Heads.

• Build Rigs and base Maintenance History Summary, listing last Major overhaul done bythe rig and or the workshop, the last major operation (Task), the next major operation due or overdue and why. This spreadsheet must show, as well the accumulative hours and/or the months, the maintenance supervisors, will update this sheet during each rig visit.

• Maintain a list of spare asset (Ready to go)

• Keep permanent contact with suppliers.

• Conduct regular field visits.

• Support Rig Superintendents and Rig Managers.

• Review technical and Operation problems.

• Dispatches Alerts, Bulletins relating to RMS Drilling equipment.

• During his Rig visit, the PMM must promote and show the example about RIR and safety concern Q-HSE. (PPE, Work permit...)

• Provide feedback to the Operation Managers and Rig Superintendent related to the Monthly Maintenance reports.

• Support annual budget development and ensure the Rig has the right equipment's to perform activities as a tiers one drilling contractor.

• Keep track of fixed spare assets in the country.

• Ensure implementation of maintenance program (compliant with RCM strategy) through CMMS and SW adherence.

• Improve maintenance processes (reliability and efficiency).

• Monitor compliance with TLM Division standards.

• Lead continuous improvement culture within the base: Provide leadership and support Clinitiatives (process improvements), and govern the progress of improvement plans.

• Plan production team activities for maintenance execution.

• Improve efficiency and productivity of Maintenance Technicians.

• Convert operational activity plan into a maintenance resources plan, which includes M&S, head count, competency, and infrastructure.

• The PMM also assist Material Department in determining proper levels of stock, inform the rig Management of stock level problem areas, and recommend an optimum stock level.

• The PMM shall use his expertise and qualification to recommend equipment specification for purchase, transfer, retirement, spare asset, capex, REA and AFE. Follow up the Far and get involved in its field update.

• Ensure adherence to failure investigation process and provide resources to perform investigation as required.

• The PMM has to follow up the material and the equipment under repair or under overhaul in the approved workshop.

• Communicate with Vendors or Manufacturer to maintain good relationship in order to obtain quality service, at optimum cost effectiveness

• Implement reliability improvement practices.

• Provide leadership and support to encourage reliability improvement feedback from TLM team.

• Develop and build competency of MB employees and track their progress.

Minimum Requirements

• Bachelor Degree Complete

• Experience as Maintenance Manager in Oil and Gas Industry

• Experience on Offshore Drilling rigs and automated rigs (mandatory)

• Advanced English

• Availability to work Onshore based in Rio de Janeiro
