ManTech Systems Center Configuration Manager (SCCM)/System Administrator in Quantico, Virginia

ManTech is seeking a Systems Center Configuration Manager (SCCM)/System Administrator to support our Marine Corps Intelligence Activity contract on MCB Quantico

This role requires an active DoD TS/SCI clearance.

General Responsibilities :

  • Operations and Maintenance Tier II Support for IT Infrastructure across multiple networks and security domains

  • Working knowledge of a Microsoft based IT Enterprise infrastructure and associated network hardware and software

  • Security/Information Assurance response to potential Vulnerabilities related to IAVAs and OPDIRs

  • Brief leadership on the health of systems, individual and/or enterprise

  • Must patch and implement security controls in response to IAVAs and OPDIRs on respective Microsoft Windows server and workstation systems

  • Providing user support and guidance

  • Recommending and implementing upgrades, patches, new applications, and new equipment

  • Update/Create documentation as needed (user guides, admin guides, knowledge base articles, FAQs, quick reference guides)

  • Interface with users to understand system operational and accreditation requirements and objectives

  • Prepare all technical information necessary to support the system’s accreditation and Authority to Operate (ATO).

  • Coordinate with the Information Assurance and Computer Network Defense organizations for access to assets/scan tools necessary for system compliance.

  • Assist in developing documentation necessary for deploying, training, and maintaining the system through its lifecycle

  • Integrate COTS/GOTS hardware and software as needed

  • Conduct software integration, troubleshooting and testing as needed.

  • Provide user support and guidance

  • Create Knowledge Based Articles

  • Other duties as required

Mandatory Skills Requirements:

  • Meet DoD 8570 IAT Level II requirements for example, must have and maintain active Security + and MS Windows certificate(s) or equivalent experience

  • Bachelor's degree and at least 4 years experience. 8 years experience without degree.

  • Working in depth knowledge of Microsoft System Center Configuration Manager (SCCM) to include: Support to accreditation efforts,

  • Manage software packaging to include Microsoft and other platforms (Mozilla, Oracle, Apache, etc…), Troubleshooting patch installations across multiple workstations and servers over multiple security domains and creating custom reports to leadership as needed

  • MS SQL Databases and how they interact with other Microsoft applications such as SCCM, SharePoint, SCSM, CRM, TFS, etc.

  • Working knowledge of the Microsoft System Center Service Manager (SCSM) for managing incidents, service requests, and change requests

  • Detailed knowledge of the Windows Operating systems to include Server and Workstation

  • PowerShell scripting using any/all of the respective plugins related to the applicable technologies

  • Working knowledge of DoD STIGs related to the applicable technologies and how to implement, mitigate, and write POAM statements

  • Respond to, incidents, change requests, and service requests making sure to follow up with the customer to ensure completion

Other Skills Preferred:

  • Knowledge of standard DoD and Marine Corps concepts, practices, and procedures. Familiarity with Navy/Marine Corps interoperability requirements is preferred
