Job Summary

PACCAR India is searching for a Receptionist to provide general office support with a variety of clerical activities and tasks. The receptionist will be responsible for answering incoming calls, directing calls to the appropriate associates and the flow of correspondence, and requisition of supplies. This position will report to the Facilities & Safety Manager.

Job Functions / Responsibilities

  • Provide positive first impression to new employees and visitors, greeting them in a professional and courteous manner, and ensuring that guests adhere to worksite guidelines.

  • Issue badges to employees, visitors, and contractors.

  • Serve as point of contact for incoming calls and walk-ins.

  • Provide support and customer service to employees regarding various office support topics.

  • Coordinate between shuttle services vendor and employees for daily commute-related requirements, as well as overall process management.

  • Responsible for office administration items like ordering office supplies, business cards, pantry items, etc.

  • Supports the planning and execution of company events.

  • Other administrative tasks as assigned.

    Qualifications / Skills

  • At least 2 years of administrative work experience required

  • Excellent customer service, interpersonal, and both written and verbal communication skills.

  • Must be reliable with dependable attendance.

  • Strong PC skills in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Outlook.

  • Able to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks/projects with shifting priorities.

  • Proven organization and time-management skills, and attention to detail.

  • Willingness to grow personally and professionally.

    Education

  • Bachelor's degree required
