Shipping Clerk:

The main purpose of this position is to pack orders and to prepare boxes for shipments and assist in organizing the warehouse.

Pick/Pack Orders:

Verify the products against sale orders before packing. Pick/Pack all regular, wholesalers orders and BC transfers. Pick/Pack the dangerous goods and refrigerate products. Ship Packages. Enter invoice information into UPS/Fedex software. Inspect package; make sure all information is correct. Follow proper shipping procedure for Hazardous Materials.

Invoice Orders: Change status and tracking number of shipped packages in Syspro.

Miscellaneous Tasks:

Clean the shelves and bottles. Assist in the organization of warehouse; place chemicals, devices, materials, etc. Perform physical inventory for shipping packaging materials.

Qualifications:

One (1) to four (4) years experience in shipping (Pharmaceutical industry an asset). High School Diploma required. Forklift certified is considered an asset. Knowledge of packing/handling dangerous goods is considered an asset. Knowledge using hand held scanners an asset. Attention to detail is necessary. Ability to lift up to 60 lbs. A positive attitude with the ability to work in a team. Excellent communication skills; English and French (oral & written) required. This position interfaces with sales representatives and facilities in the United States and Australia. Knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel) required; Syspro is an asset.
