The Comfort Group Company Delivery Drivers CDL and Non CDL - Immediate Opening in Nashville, Tennessee

The Comfort Group, Inc. is seeking a Non CDL driver and a Class A CDL driver to work full time in our Nashville office. The Comfort Group is a Mechanical Contracting Company that has been in business for over 50 years. We are headquartered in Nashville, TN and have an office in Huntsville, AL. Responsibilities:

  • Operate a day cab tractor, stake body, box truck and pickup truck

  • Haul material from fabrication shop to job sites. Multiple trips per shift.

  • Haul scrap metal to recycling centers

  • Be able to drive routes in Middle TN & Northern AL

  • Handling BOL/Shipping Documents

  • Other duties as assigned

    Requirements and Qualifications:

  • Valid A Commercial Driver’s License (for CDL position)

  • Must be able to pass health screening

  • At least 6 months of professional driving experience (i.e. box trucks, flatbeds or larger)

  • A good DMV record with only minor moving violations

  • Construction experience a plus

  • Detail-oriented, organized, and ability to multi-task.

  • Must be able to effectively communicate with every level of personnel within and outside of the organization.

  • Must be able to pass a background check and drug screen.
