JOB REQUIREMENTS: Position Description: The Department of Anesthesiology at the Medical College of Wisconsin (MCW) and Children\'s Wisconsin (CW), is seeking a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our outpatient pain management service team. We are comprised of a group of dedicated, nationally and internationally renowned faculty and staff with a strong commitment to clinical care. This position will provide assessment and care coordination with clinical work in the outpatient setting. Advance practice providers work in an interdisciplinary team that includes physicians and psychologists. Clinical activities include interdisciplinary intake evaluations, outpatient therapy with a primary focus on cognitive behavioral and family systems approaches, biofeedback, collaboration with schools, group therapy, collaboration with health care providers, and care coordination. The chronic pain and headache clinics treat youth with a wide range of pain problems including headaches, abdominal pain, post-concussive syndrome, complex regional pain syndrome, myofascial pain, autonomic disorders and generalized pain associated disability. Position Requirements: Completion of an accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program. Experience with pediatric patients and be comfortable working as part of a multidisciplinary team. Licensed, or eligible to be licensed as appropriate in the state of Wisconsin.
