Job Summary:The Auto Service Advisor & Parts role at Friendly Acura of Middletown is a dynamic and essential position within our fast-paced dealership. This individual will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to our clients while also supporting our technicians and ensuring efficient operation of our parts department. As a member of our team, the Auto Service Advisor & Parts will play a crucial role in maintaining and enhancing our reputation for excellence in the auto industry.Compensation & Benefits:This is a full-time, position with annual compensation of $50,000-$70,000 (salary plus commission). Along with competitive pay, we offer comprehensive benefits, including medical, dental, and vision insurance, paid time off, and retirement savings options.Responsibilities:- Greet customers and assist them with scheduling appointments, understanding recommended services, and answering any questions or concerns- Assess customer needs and provide accurate service recommendations based on vehicle issues, warranty coverage, and anticipated costs- Generate estimates and invoices for services and parts, ensuring accurate pricing and proper documentation- Execute all transactions in compliance with company policies and procedures- Provide updates and work closely with technicians to ensure timely completion of repairs and maintenance- Manage inventory levels, order parts as needed, and maintain accurate records of all parts transactions- Communicate with customers throughout the service process, providing updates on the status of their vehicle and any additional repairs or services needed- Address and resolve customer complaints or concerns to ensure customer satisfaction- Continuously maintain and update knowledge of vehicle components, technology, and service processes to provide accurate information to customers- Participate in training programs to enhance skills and knowledge and stay up to date on industry developmentsRequirements:- High school diploma or equivalent, and additional education or training in automotive technology or customer service preferred- At least 2-4 years of experience in a customer service or sales role within the automotive industry- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to provide exceptional customer service- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks efficiently- Proficient in computer skills and experience using automotive service and parts software- Knowledge and understanding of automotive repair and maintenance processes- Must have a valid driver's license and clean driving recordEEOC statement:Friendly Acura of Middletown is an equal opportunity employer and is committed to providing a diverse and inclusive workplace.
