Join our Sulzer Turbo Services team, part of Sulzer GT EMEA, which is one of the world's most advanced independent providers of repair, overhaul, and maintenance within the turbomachinery industry. We provide our customers worldwide with solid, customer-oriented, and flexible support for their heavy duty and aeroderivative gas turbines. Please join our proud and highly skilled international crew as Area Sales Manager .

In this role you will be accountable for:

  • Sell the entire service and product portfolio and introduce new services and products to your area

  • Develop, expand and maintain the sales channels for your area through direct customer contact, via agents and within the Sulzer organization

  • Provide feedback and advice the Head of Sales on market volume, sales budget and strategies

  • Work closely with the inside sales team to ensure seamless sales process with reliable forecasting for customer responses and quotes

  • Work with Sulzer management team to provide sales forecasts and action plans regarding current loads and future market trends

To succeed in this role, you will need to:

  • Have a bachelor’s or master’s degree in (mechanical) engineering

  • Have at least 10 years of sales experience with rotating equipment (gas turbines, steam turbines and compressors)

  • Have a strong customer focus and very good communication skills

  • Be fluent in written and spoken English other languages are a plus

  • Be open to international travel

Location:

Our competence center for heavy duty gas turbines, steam turbines and compressors is based in Lomm, the Netherlands. The other competence center for gas turbines and aeroderivative is based in Aberdeen, Scotland. You could be hosted in the Netherlands or the UK.
