What You’ll Get to Do:

As a CACI-SOAS Lead Intelligence Trainer, you will serve as a key member of a threat analysis and strategic planning team embedded with the 389th Military Intelligence Battalion and in direct support of US Army Special Operations Command (USASOC), the Theater Special Operations Commands and other Strategic Partners across the Special Operations Forces Emerging Threat, Operations and Planning Support (SOFETOPS) enterprise.

As the Lead Trainer for the 389th and its associated Irregular Warfare Intelligence Training Program, you will use your Special Operations experience/perspective to achieve the training of the 389th analytical capabilities and capacity. This position serves as an instructor for the 389th MI BN (SO) (A), 1SFC (A) Irregular Warfare Intelligence Training Program. Teaches a five-week training program once a quarter per FY to enable the development and certification of multi-disciplined intelligence analysts supporting Special Operations, Irregular Warfare, and competition-based targeting. The position requires a background in Intelligence Support to Special Operations, Targeting and fusion of GEOINT, SIGINT, OSINT, and MASINT ISO SOF, Cyber, and Information Operations. The position will serve as a focal point and local expert on all-source analytical techniques, including targeting and various tool suites. The position supports course development as required and the production of association programs of instruction. Delivery of multiple programs of instruction is also required.

You will be responsible for providing guidance, coaching, and training less-experienced employees within the Modernization Analyses, Assessment, and Planning Functional Group (MAAP) (I3C) and across the SOFETOPS enterprise within the technical area of expertise of multi-domain intelligence analysis. You will initiate new multi-domain intelligence requirement processes, organize and implement program methodologies, and ensure inputs are coordinated from other functional groups and technical personnel.

You will also support the below tasks:

  • Enhance SOF effectiveness against emerging threats and associated threat networks.

  • Responsible for leveraging multi-intelligence expertise and strong analytical skills.

  • Provide relevant and realistic SOF Intelligence training.

  • Provide relevant and realistic National Defense Strategy (NDS) 2+3 emerging threat and near-peer training profiles.

  • Strategic and operational analysis to advise on new and emerging threats, tactics, techniques, and procedures.

  • Develop technical reports and briefings.

You’ll Bring These Qualifications

  • Current Top Secret/SCI clearance.

  • Minimum of 15 years of military/DOD experience.

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in Special Operations.

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in SOF unit training and/or SOF institutional training.

  • Strong background in Intelligence Support to Special Operations, Targeting and fusion of GEOINT, SIGINT, OSINT, and MASINT ISO SOF, Cyber, and Information Operations.

  • Demonstrated familiarization with the Army Training Management Program and large-scale, enterprise-wide training programs.

  • Experience integrating information, analysis, technology, interagency collaboration, lessons learned, and best practices for training support to enable effective and efficient dissemination of threat training.

  • Proven understanding and experience with readiness resource requirements and CTEs at CTCs, regional collective training centers, Mobilization Force Generation Installations, major mission command, and home-station training events.

  • Proficient use of Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access).

  • Bachelor’s Degree and a minimum of seven years of experience.

These Qualifications Would Be Nice to Have

  • Master’s degree.

  • Experience with Joint Lessons Learned Information System (JLLIS).

  • CAPM, PMP, or related certificates in project management.

  • Demonstrated recent (within the last five years) experience with or knowledge of the SOF training environment.

  • Experience assessing training and preparing units for deployment into conflict zones.

  • Experience planning, directing, and synchronizing intelligence collection, analysis, and production in support of training, deployment, and contingency operations.

  • Proven understanding of the emerging and non-traditional concepts that are shaping the character of contemporary joint and multinational warfare.
