The role

As Global Lease Accounting Analyst, you will be responsible for the full scope of lease services (planning, initiation, Period End Close, sustain, system maintenance) of timely, accurate and relevant data and analysis for all Company codes in the recipient Markets, in support to the Lease Accounting Manager.

Also, will enable proactive collaboration with recipient Markets to ensure and enhance Leasing understanding at Nestle and a continuous improvement culture.

What you’ll do

  • Execute Lease Accounting processes.

  • Deliver lease accounting and system training to market users.

  • First level support to markets when it comes to lease standards and tool.

  • Responsible for full compliance to IFRS16.

  • Simulates lease change impact and provide expertise on leasing scenarios.

  • Execution of all necessary reconciliation and checks to ensure quality of data provided with agreed timelines.

  • Provide support to the business/functional controllers and lead their respective business review meetings.

  • Participate in Ad Hoc projects as the Lease Accounting functional expert.

  • Assist the Lease Manager in providing support to the business.

  • Contribute to implementation of new functionalities, tools and solutions.

  • Enter and maintain data in Lease system based on market information.

Minimum qualifications

  • Degree in Economics, Finance, Accounting or similar.

  • 3 years’ experience in accounting roles.

  • Having worked in multicultural/varied nationality environment.

  • Fluent in English.

  • Good communicator, both orally and written.

  • Good interpersonal skills.

  • Can assimilate and understand complex system processes and give clear guidance on the financial treatment of leases.

  • Effectively handle pressures and demands from multiple customers and competing priorities.

  • Ability of understanding customer requirements and effectively prioritizing activities

  • Good organizational and planning skills.

Bonus Points If You:

  • Will be a plus to have previous experience in Lease Accounting.

  • Other languages will be a plus.

  • Self-Training on leasing guidelines and tools.
