Job Description Summary

In this role, you will hold Quality Assurance responsibility for market release from warehouse to end-customers, for all and any GE Healthcare's Pharmaceutical Diagnostics sold in the Benelux market under a Wholesale Dealer’s Authorisation (WDA).

Pharmaceutical Diagnostics (PDx) business is the number one global supplier of contrast media and molecular imaging agents used to enhance medical imaging exams. Used throughout all major disease area diagnostic and treatment pathways, PDx products support three patients every second around the world.

Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

  • Quality Assurance responsibility as designated named Responsible Person on a Wholesale Distribution Authorisation, for the distribution of medicinal products;

  • Quality Management System – implement and maintain a QMS for distribution and supporting activities, including deviations, investigations, change controls, and corrective and preventive actions;

  • Management of outsourced activities and suppliers/vendors;

  • Inbound release of warehouse stock products;

  • Point of contact for regulatory authorities.

Required Qualifications:

  • You bring a degree in pharmacy, human sciences, veterinary medicine, chemistry, biology (article 95 .2 of the Royal Decree of 14 December 2006, or assessed equivalence);

  • You are eligible to be designated a Responsible Person on a Wholesale Dealer’s Authorisation in Belgium, Luxembourg and Netherlands;

  • Business fluent in Dutch and English (written and oral), additional languages advantageous;

  • You bring proven experience in the pharmaceutical industry, preferably in a Distribution or Manufacturing environment.

Desired Characteristics:

  • A prior designation as a Responsible Person on a Wholesale Dealer’s Authorisation is preferred;

  • Experience in dealing with competent authorities;

  • Problem solving skills;

  • Experience in auditing (as auditor and auditee) High degree of self-motivation and self-responsibility;

  • Influencing abilities and working within a cross-functional and multi-national team;
