For our “Center of Competence for Datacenters” located in The Hague, we are looking for an electrical engineer with experience in commissioning of power distribution systems. A new role, so the possibility to build your own workspace. In our business unit, we realize power distribution solutions for large “Data Center” customers worldwide. Our team is responsible for project management, engineering, sales, and all project support for our projects. We work closely with factories around the world that produce systems for us.

How can you make a difference in the team:

  • Give technical support (from our office) to our commissioning engineers working on location worldwide (first contact).

  • Prepare commissioning activities for execution on site.

  • Guide our commissioning team members in case of issues on site.

  • Incidentally bring visit to construction site.

  • Involve technical specialist in case of complex technical issues.

  • Monitor the quality of reports from site prepared by commissioning engineers.

  • Initiate improvements in our process.

  • Work closely together with our quality manager in case of technical quality issues on site.

  • Mentor role in the team and onboarding new colleagues.

The team

You will be part of an enthusiastic, relatively young, and diverse team of 9 commissioning engineers. In the past year, our team has grown significantly in size, and we are looking for new enthusiastic colleagues.

Preferably your skillset is filled with:

  • A communicative, committed, stress-resistant person and able to act in a hectic environment.

  • Flexible work attitude, practical and result oriented.

  • A completed bachelor’s in electrical engineering or equivalent.

  • At least 3 - 5 years of work experience in commissioning of electrical power distribution systems.

  • Experience with all kinds of electrical testing (current injection, isolation tests etc.), testing of protection systems.

  • Preferably experience with DIGSI 5 and Scada systems.

  • Excellent knowledge of the English and Dutch language, both written and spoken.
