GE Healthcare Ultrasound HQ Demo Logistics Coordinator in Budapest, Hungary

Job Description Summary

As an HQ Demo Coordinator, you will be responsible for the coordination of deliveries of ultrasound equipment for various reasons (eg. demo, evaluation, events) within our international region, predominantly, Europe, Middle East and Africa.

You will provide administrative support to our Ultrasound segment leaders, both for human & VET medicine, to arrange the shipments of demo equipment across multiple countries. You will oversee the coordination with various stakeholders such as product managers and logistics teams. You will be responsible for the preparation of reports related to demo management (utilization) and maintaining inventory control of demo data.

Job Description

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Coordinating and organizing shipments of demo equipment, for example for trade shows, with distribution and freight forwarders across Europe, Middle East and Africa

  • Managing customs clearance, if and when needed

  • Maintain the communication towards customers, sales, product managers and other related stakeholders

  • Leverage necessary global Demo tools (SFDC/Elton) to reflect planning of Demo equipment, data management, and setting up the configurations on hand

  • Follow up the Demo processes like order booking, inventory replenishment, sell off processes

  • Estimate the inventory plan for stock control and take pro-active action to prevent the deterioration of inventories (quality of inventory, aging and obsolescence)

  • Support warehouse activities to ensure proper stock movements, ensure precise annual and cycle inventory counts

  • Support improving the logistic costs by engaging with logistics team, and choosing the best carrier from cost and quality point of view

  • Work with service teams to ensure completion of required maintenance activities for equipment

  • Drive continuous improvement on all related processes, work instructions, and procedures to ensure ongoing standardization and simplification of the Quality Management System

  • Identify and report any quality or compliance concerns and take immediate corrective action as required

Required Qualifications and Competencies

  • College or Relevant high-level degree or formal qualification on operational, logistics or equivalent experience.

  • Fluent in English and German in verbal and written

  • Fully competent using Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.)
