What You’ll Get to Do:

CACI is looking to hire a Systems Engineer focused on seabed electronics engineering for the US Navy. The ideal candidate will have experience with electrical and mechanical interfaces, micro electric grids, and experience with US Navy ships and submarines.

More About the Role:

Responsibilities include:

  • Writing and defining interface control documentation for seabed warfare systems.

  • Working with electrical and mechanical interfaces.

  • Working with data and communication interfaces.

  • Creating useable documents for a variety of subcontractors and customers.

This position will primarily be on-site at Naval Surface Warfare Center, Carderock Division with some remote work possible.

You’ll Bring These Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in ocean engineering, marine engineering, electrical engineering, or related field.

  • 5+ years of experience in marine, electrical, or shipboard engineering, or a related technical discipline.

  • Ability to obtain and maintain a SECRET clearance. (US Citizenship is required in order to obtain a security clearance from the DoD.)

These Qualifications Would be Nice to Have:

  • Currently hold an active Secret Security Clearance.

  • Masters degree in ocean engineering, marine engineering, electrical engineering, or related field.

  • Military experience with submarines.

  • Military experience with MCM or EOD.

  • Experience working with US Navy.
