What do you contribute?

In your role, you will support our team in hardware project planning and implementation of the European Train Control System (ETCS European Train Control System) and other systems such as line train control on rail vehicles. A thorough onboarding process will ensure you are well-prepared for your responsibilities. #OneOBU

  • You will be in close contact with our customers and internal interfaces with the aim of implementing customer requirements in projects in the best possible technical and timely manner.

  • In advance of the engineering, check the installation and adaptation conditions for integrating the train protection system on the rail vehicles.

  • You prepare the technical documentation necessary for the respective equipment on rail vehicles. This includes circuit diagrams, wiring lists, component selection, assembly and installation instructions, maintenance and operating instructions, commissioning protocols and relevant verification documentation.

  • During the engineering phase, you are in direct contact with production regarding implementation, testing, testing and IBS preparation, as well as with the respective customer project management regarding the implementation of the project specifications.

  • You perform and document the necessary work and tests for commissioning on the customer's rail vehicles, including prototypes, initial commissioning, and series commissioning.

  • Interface departments are primarily product and project management, sales and bid as well as construction and logistics.

What do you bring along?

  • Your success is built on a completed electrical engineering University degree or a comparable electrical engineering apprenticeship, along with further qualification as a state-certified technician. Additionally, you should have knowledge in machine control or rail vehicle technology and several years of professional experience.

  • Experience from assembling and commissioning systems on rail vehicles is advantageous.

  • You enjoy dealing with complex topics independently, are goal-oriented and communicative.

  • You are willing to take occasional business trips. (Travel duration up to 1 week).

  • Place of residence preferably Berlin and the surrounding area.

  • Since we operate in an international environment, you can communicate confidently in German and English.

  • You have a class B driving license
