CACI is looking for an IT Specialist to join our dynamic engineering team in Belgrade/Bozeman, Montana. The IT Specialist’s primary duties will be to support the networking infrastructure of the office located in Belgrade, MT. This will include working with the larger remote CACI IT team and the local office to troubleshoot issues with local and remote IT infrastructure. The IT Specialists responsibilities will include troubleshooting Audio and Video systems, Workstation issues, and other general IT tasks with local employees. Responsibilities will also include managing separate networks, maintaining security compliance standards, and developing new IT systems to support engineering activities. Candidates should be familiar with both Linux and Windows operating systems and server environments. Candidates must have experience with Active Directory managed environments. This individual must also be able to work with a diverse team and capable to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Additionally, the successful candidate will need to have to ability to learn quickly with on-the-job training and be able to work independently to solve problems.

More About the Role:

  • Provide phone, remote, and onsite technical support to employees on a daily basis

  • Provide technical support of Windows and Linux desktop operating systems, smartphones, and tablets

  • Respond to and resolve end user hardware and software issues in a timely manner

  • Perform initial troubleshooting and escalate service requests or incidents to CACI IT Services team

  • End user administration within Active Directory, Enterprise Email, and Application environments

  • Installation and support of organization’s standard and critical applications

  • Preparation, testing, and deployment of desktop and laptop Windows OS images

  • Support of end user remote access solutions: VPN and RDS/Terminal Services

  • Coordination of Application Vendor Support, to resolve critical issues as identified

  • Document internal processes and procedures related to duties and responsibilities

  • Update and maintain accurate reference documentation for all supported end user systems

  • Work closely with internal CACI and partner IT support teams

  • Work with CACI IT and local employees to oversee the maintenance, implementation, and evaluation of Ascent Vision’s information system security program

  • Develop, document, and monitor compliance with and reporting of Ascent Vision’s information system security program in accordance with government-provided guidelines for management, operational, and technical controls and CACI IT mandates

  • Brief users on their responsibilities with regards to information system security and train users on prescribed security restrictions and safeguards

  • Support and troubleshoot local audio visual equipment and networks alongside CACI IT services team and vendor(s)

You’ll Bring These Qualifications:

  • Experience providing technical support in medium to large, multi-site organizations that work as a subsection of a larger corporation

  • Strong customer service skills

  • Solid working knowledge of Microsoft desktop operating systems and PC applications

  • Working knowledge of Active Directory and associated troubleshooting of AD related issues

  • Good understanding of standard systems and network troubleshooting techniques

  • Experience supporting and troubleshooting Wi-Fi networks

  • Printer and peripheral setup, configuration, and troubleshooting

  • Self-motivated with the ability to work in a fast-moving environment

  • Experience working in a team environment is a must

  • BA/BS in MIS, Computer Science or a Business-related field

  • 2-4 years of progressive Help Desk/Desktop Support/Systems Administration professional experience desired, 5-7+ years preferred

  • IT Support experience in the Manufacturing or Engineering Industries strongly desired

  • Professional IT Certifications desired: Microsoft MTA/MCP/MCSA, CompTIA A+, Network +, Security +, or ITIL

  • Familiarity with NIST cybersecurity and computer security publications

  • Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret U.S. Security Clearance
