CACI is seeking an CMDB Architect to implement a greenfield CMDB solution for DHS. In this role you will collaborate across IT Operations teams and ServiceNow product teams in defining, maintaining, and driving strategic roadmaps for enterprise CMDB implementation and adoption.

The successful candidate will be responsible for defining and implementing an enterprise configuration management plan, ensuring CMDB data integrity and continual service improvement.

About the Role:

  • Spearhead the adoption and optimization of CISA’s configuration management processes across the CIO organization

  • Define and document CMDB processes, ensuring alignment with ITIL4 standards and best practices

  • Collaborate with product owners to implement processes using the appropriate tools, with a focus on the ServiceNow ITSM module

  • Conduct maturity assessments and gap analysis to identify areas for improvement in existing CMDB processes

  • Identify and define roles and responsibilities within the CMDB processes, ensuring clear ownership and accountability

  • Establish Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness and efficiency of CMDB processes

  • Regularly report on KPIs to stakeholders, highlighting areas of success and areas for improvement

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of CMDB processes with other IT and business functions

  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.

  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present complex security concepts to technical and non-technical audiences.

Required Qualifications:

  • Ability to attain DHS EOD

  • BA + 13 years’ or 19 years’ experience

  • Extensive CMDB experience developing and implementing enterprise CMDB plans/processes

  • Effective oral, written, and interpersonal skills with the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders as well as engage both technical and non-technical groups

  • A strong understanding of ITIL4 standards and experience with the ServiceNow ITSM/ITOM module is required

  • Possess the savvy to work across organizational lines within the company and influence key internal executives and business line directors

  • Basic understanding of standard IT responsibilities (network configuration, wireless connections, desktop/laptop management, operating system management, IT security, firewall, VPN, remote access, A/V technology, etc.)
