Lockheed Martin Electro Mechanical Assembler- 2nd Shift in Archbald, Pennsylvania

Description: Lockheed Martin Missiles and Fire Control (MFC) has an opportunity for a Electro Mechanical Assembler to join the Archbald, PA team. Job responsibilities include but are not limited to:

 Work in a team or solo environment to assemble components and main assemblies

 Supports the manufacture of harnesses, circuit cards and miscellaneous assemblies

 Diligently follow work instructions to ensure product specs, performance targets and quality

levels are met

 Form Components and hand or machine populate circuit cards

 Assembler would operate various equipment such as but not limited to Laser wire strippers,

crimpers, pneumatic tools etc.

 Perform detailed soldering operations on micro and sub miniature components and parts as

assigned

 Building of precision Electro Mechanical Assemblies, wiring of assemblies and sub assemblies

 Supports continuous improvement activities and participates in problem solving activities

 Contribute to a safe working environment by following safety requirements

 Work to ESD Requirements

 Use hand tools, computers, and other equipment to manufacture the product

 Ability to perform all jobs within work area

 Ability to multi-task, sit or stand for extended periods of time

 Ability to lift up to 40 lbs.

 Assist in the training of employees as assigned

 Performs miscellaneous duties as assigned

Basic Qualifications:

 High School diploma or equivalent

 The ability to work to written work instructions

 Experience using a variety hand tools and measuring devices

 Ability to support a flexible work schedule supporting overtime, off-Fridays, weekends, and/or

alternate shifts to support product schedules as required

 Achieve the defined quality and HPU standards for assigned work

 Ability to become certified in Cable and Harness Class

 Ability to become certified in JSTSTD Mods 001-002

 Ability to become certified in any required skills or processes

 Basic computer skills

 Must be a US Citizen

Desired Skills:

 Ability to read and work to blue prints and schematics

 Previous Electro Mechanical experience

 Previous certification in industry standards

 Previous experience on cable and harness manufacturing

 Previous Circuit card manufacturing experience

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.

Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.

Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
