Eaton Corporation Maintenance Tech Team Lead 2nd Shift in Amarillo, Texas

Eaton’s EPG CHD EP Americas division is currently seeking a Maintenance Tech Team Lead 2nd Shift. The core hours are 2:00 pm to 10:30 pm. The hourly rate for this position is $29.86 - $37.33 per hour.

What you’ll do:

Position Overview :

This position requires the ability to be responsible for installation, preventative maintenance, troubleshooting and repair of facility equipment, plant and associated systems.

In this function you will:

  • Install equipment/machinery.

  • Perform preventive and predictive maintenance on plant equipment.

  • Troubleshoot and repair equipment.

  • Complete/maintain maintenance logs and associated documentation.

  • Assign work duties for maintenance personnel and provide technical support for maintenance activities.

  • Communicate equipment/plant status as required.

  • Participate in LMX3 and Gembas as well as support MESH Prism work order closure.

  • Maintain and follow all safety requirements and ensure compliance by maintenance personnel.

  • Own a MESH Element supporting the site Safety/Environmental Program

  • Coordinate work duties within shift communicating with Operations Leaders for Priority as well as Operators for troubleshooting equipment

  • Coach Maintenance Team Members as needed for work performance, attendance, communication, etc.

  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

Required (Basic) Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or GED from an accredited institution

  • 3 years of industrial maintenance experience

  • No relocation benefit is being offered for this position. Only candidates within a 50-mile radius of (enter location) will be considered. Active-Duty Military Service member candidates are exempt from the geographical area limitation.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience in metals fabrication.

  • Able to utilize hydraulic schematics, pneumatic schematics and electrical schematics

  • Familiarity with wastewater treatment

  • Ability to modify or program PLC’s and HMI’s a plus
