Currently, ManTech is seeking a motivated, career and customer-oriented CNO Applications SME to join our team in San Antonio, TX, in support of the Air Force’s Unified Platform (UP) program. This is a hybrid work position.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Serve as CNO Applications SME for UP and responsible for guiding the development of front-end and back-end applications that users directly interact with.

  • Provide expertise in implementing common services such as enterprise identity, credential, and access management.

  • Provide expertise for modeling and communication capabilities that support integration, interoperability, and inter-program synchronization.

  • Guide continual improvement of application development process and supporting DevSecOps automations.

  • Oversee technical requirements and the development of the conceptual and detailed design of UP applications in consideration to:

  • Deployment of commercial or open source software

  • Development of custom software

  • System configuration modifications

  • Debugging and optimization

  • Collaborate with developers, system engineers, tester, operators, and customer program management to ensure quality product deliverable.

  • Work within a Scaled Agile Framework Team environment.

  • Work with stakeholders and customers to achieve a Certificate to Field (CtF) for software built by tenant application teams.

  • Design and prepare technical reports and related documentation such as charts and graphs to record and present results.

  • Explain complex issues to others in a manner that facilitates informed decision making.

  • Supervising technical personnel and interfacing with customer leadership, user community members, and teams of software developers.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.

  • Minimum of five (5) years of experience supporting/executing DoD cyberspace operations.

  • Minimum of five (5) years of experience with DevOps/DevSecOps implementations/technologies such as GitLab, Jenkins, Ansible, Chef, Puppet, Terraform, Helm, Nexus, Artifactory, Fortify, SonarQube, Twistlock, Grafana, etc.

  • Minimum of ten (10) years of experience leading the design, development, and maintenance of user-facing software applications and integrating and extending open source/GOTS/COTS products as well as technical requirements analysis, dependency resolution, risk management, task tracking, and schedule management.

  • Demonstrated expertise of software development using languages such as C, C++, Java, Python, JavaScript, .NET, React, Node.js Go, etc.

  • Demonstrated work experience with container, orchestration, container platform, and service mesh technologies such as Docker, Kubernetes, and Istio.

  • Demonstrated work experience with database and data storage technologies such as Elasticsearch, MongoDB, Hadoop, Cloudera, Prometheus, PostgreSQL, MySQL, etc.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Experience working within a DoD organization.

  • Experience with DoD DevSecOps Reference Architecture and Guidelines

  • Experience with a Cyber component of the Joint Cyber Warfighting Architecture (JCWA).

  • Experience with Big Data Platforms.

  • Experience with cATO and CtF processes.

  • Experience with Team Topologies concepts, team organization, and interaction modes.

  • Experience with conflict resolution and team building.

  • Ability to professionally communicate verbally and in writing to present technical details to audiences of varying technical depth.

  • DoD 8570 IAT Level II or greater certification.

  • Cloud (AWS, Azure, GCP) certification.

  • Kubernetes certification.

Clearance Requirements:

  • US Citizenship required

  • Minimum TS/SCI-eligible clearance required

Physical Requirements:

  • The person in this position must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time. Occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, or to communicate with co-workers, management, and customers, via email, phone, and or virtual communication, which may involve delivering presentations.

The projected compensation range for this position is $122,600-$204,200. There are differentiating factors that can impact a final salary/hourly rate, including, but not limited to, Contract Wage Determination, relevant work experience, skills and competencies that align to the specified role, geographic location (For Remote Opportunities), education and certifications as well as Federal Government Contract Labor categories. In addition, ManTech invests in it’s employees beyond just compensation.
