We are searching for an experienced eCommerce Marketing Manager, who will be responsible for delivering on revenue commitments and increasing profitability for one of HPs most dynamic business units. The selected candidate must have a strong sales mindset, be a results-driven, innovative thinker, with experience leading eCommerce marketing strategy, planning, and new marketing initiatives, which support acquisition and retention goals. Responsibilities

  • Develop eCommerce marketing plans that facilitate and grow assigned unit, revenue, margin, and site performance targets.

  • Optimise return on marketing investment across the marketing portfolio, utilising attribution/interaction approaches, customer segment behaviours, etc, in order to maximise revenue.

  • Develop and lead all stages of eCommerce marketing planning, execution, & optimisation - with strategic thought leadership integrating customer (home, student, gaming and SMB), market and product insights.

  • Lead, manage and execute key marketing initiatives across multiple channels (such as paid search, email marketing, affiliate programs and programmatic media buying) to support growth of the business.

  • Oversee the performance of site traffic, conversion, product category, up-sell, and cross-sell to determine gaps and opportunities.

  • Identify marketing opportunities based on changes in strategy, media, online/digital usage, competitors/industry and customer behaviour - maintain strong proactive knowledge of trends.

  • Implement a 'Test & Learn' approach towards all execution to drive continuous improvement in marketing ROI & achieve business goals.

  • Establish, track and measure HP store success across web and call centre, conversions, revenue and leads generated. Provide regular reports on performance so teams can act upon and gauge success.

  • Manage advertising budgets effectively, ensuring efficient allocation of resources to maximise results within target KPIs.

  • Manage agency relationships & show ownership of deliverables.

  • Work with analysts and agencies/vendors to drive marketing & customer insights.

  • Collaborate with local, regional & global marketing teams to deliver a cohesive output on program planning & execution

Qualifications and Experience

  • Bachelor of Business (BB), Arts (BA) or Bachelor of Science (BS) in Marketing or related field;

  • 7+ years of proven expertise in Digital Marketing for an eCommerce business (utilising key competencies such as paid search, SEO, affiliate marketing, email, display/online advertising, Social (direct response), mobile, comparison Shopping, email and database marketing etc)

  • 7+ years of ecommerce and digital marketing experience in Australia and/or New Zealand

  • 5+ years of experience managing budgets

  • Digital certifications (eg. Adwords Certification/ Social Media certification - Hubspot/Hootsuite) desirable

  • Ability to develop comprehensive marketing plans targeting home, student and SMB audiences, with a focus on developing key initiatives, optimisation and testing

  • High level of business acumen, with strong can-do attitude, critical thinking, problem-solving, and analytical skills

  • Analytic skills - ability to drive results-oriented, measurable and highly optimised media plans and implementation and to link marketing results to business results. Experience on tools such as Google Analytics/Adobe Marketing Cloud are required.

  • Excellent organisational, project management & time management skills

  • Effective oral and written presentation skills, with ability to influence others and interact at senior management level across multiple regions

  • Passion for eCommerce and technology

  • High-level organisation/process management skills needed.

  • Marketing and marketing communications acumen - ability to partner with global and country marketing leads, product and segment marketing leads to jointly deliver high impact marketing campaigns.

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Strong understanding of and experience marketing to SMB, Gaming and Home consumer audiences

  • Proven web analytical skills (measurement, ROI, forecasting).

  • Strong organisation and program management skills.

  • Ability to link interactive plans and activities to business KPIs and Results including revenue, margin etc.

  • Strong knowledge and understanding of interactive media, tools and technologies (all channels and pricing models).

  • Strong knowledge of Internet principles and web site production.

  • Strong knowledge of direct marketing and CRM.

  • Maintain HP marketing management systems as needed.

  • Proven experience managing, leading, driving and measuring virtual teams toward common goal.

  • Advanced writing and editing for the web - very minimal peer or manager edits needed.

  • High levels of tact and diplomacy.

  • Agency and budget management.
