To supervise the maintenance activity through the implementation of a preventive maintenance program and an ongoing maintenance repair program for production maintenance and process equipment.

· · Supervises maintenance team members, to include hiring, training and performance management.

· Sets shift schedules, coordinate shift activities and exchange information and priorities between shifts.

· Maintenance of machinery and procurement of necessary materials.

· Work in conjunction with EHS to address environmental, health and safety concerns for the facility.

· Assigns preventative maintenance tasks as needed and assures timely execution.

· Plans, organizes, and assigns work in accordance with production schedules and utilizes employees and equipment to the best advantage.

· Install electrical conduit, wiring, switching devices, controls, outlets, fixtures, motors, and other such equipment.

· Test, maintain and evaluate equipment performance using instruments such as voltmeters, ohmmeters, pyrometers, and pressure gauges.

· Schedules team members to perform skilled maintenance activities including construction, welding, brazing, soldering, and plumbing.

· Check and repair pumps, fans, valves, and motors.

· Adjust, repair, and replace electrical and pneumatic components.

· Recommend needed procedures for preventive maintenance tasks.

· Responsible for quality and safety of work and compliance of all company procedures and policies

· Ensures team adheres to Occupational Safety & Health Administration (OSHA) safety regulations.

· Ensure team adheres to National electrical code, NFPA 70 and NFPA 79 regulations.

-High school diploma

-5 years related maintenance experience

-3 to 5 years supervisory experience

-Familiarity with air compressors, heating and air conditions, plumbing, welding, carpentry, electrical/electronic equipment, pneumatics, hydraulics and heavy manufacturing equipment

-Knowledge of occupational hazards and safety precautions of the trades involved

-Skill in the care and use of tools and equipment used in the trades involved

-Ability to detect defects in equipment and to make proper repairs or adjustments

-Ability to interpret and work from pencil sketches and diagrams
