Provides analytics for the Product Management, Pricing, and Marketing departments. This position assists in a wide array of duties, including competitive benchmarking, market research, sales analysis, forecasting, customer program/pricing, and support of new product development.

CORE DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Regular review of customer and part number sales data and analysis of trends to generate sales leads for profitable growth.

  • Utilize Business Intelligence software to create ad-hoc reporting for internal and/or external customers.

  • Participate in establishing and analyzing product pricing.

  • Assist in identifying new product additions.

  • Acquire products for new product addition and cross reference analysis.

    · Participate in cross functional product reviews.

  • Update Key Performance Indicators (KPI’s) as requested.

  • Assist in product lifecycle reviews.

  • Assist in project work as needed.

  • Is responsible for quality and safety of own work and compliance of all company procedures and policies.

    · Required: Candidate must be a College of Business & Technology major with at least sophomore status. Candidate must have at least one year of school remaining. Candidate must be able to work a minimum of 20 hours per week during the school year and full time during the summer months (will be flexible around class commitments).

    · Preferred: Candidate with a GPA above 3.0 who has 2 years of school remaining and is majoring in Accounting, Finance, or Management
