ESH:

▪ ensure implementation of measures and maintain controls

▪ raise awareness and provide information about ESH responsibilities and duties

▪ ensure immediate notification and response, and initiate preventive measures in case of unsafe or polluting hazards

▪ demonstrate exemplary personal behavior in ESH and motivate others

Product Industrialization:

▪ support steady communication between central R&D and local organization

▪ ensure industrialization of new tire constructions and technologies on time with consideration of the local manufacturing process capabilities

▪ ensure product optimization during its life time in relation to its quality level

▪ design of new processes and procedures for material and product industrialization

▪ participate in design and process FMEA and the definition of control plans for new concepts

▪ responsible for Tire RNs sent to plant till get plant 2nd sign-off, and regular monitor of open RNs

Material Industrialization:

▪ review the raw materials and compound recipes with the responsible developers in R&D

▪ ensure introduction of new raw materials / compounds on time

▪ review the plant capabilities with the local engineering and production department to enable introduction of new products

▪ support the Know - How exchange within Two Wheel

▪ responsible for Material and part of Process RNs sent to plant till get plant 2nd sign-off, and regular monitor of open RNs

Product Management:

▪ ensure the implementation of measures to standardize and consolidate all production components to an adequate level

▪ ensure the implementation of value leadership measures

▪ make decisions what to do with off - spec material according to the company and plant rules

▪ ensure the production, analysis and delivery of prototype compounds as well as the related reporting according to specification and time

ETO and Pilot activities Coordination:

▪ cooridnate the ETO Team (PI Technicians) to ensure ETO building in time and in required quality

▪ support the employee dialogue together with PI Manager for the ETO team

▪ improve ETO report quality

▪ arrange weekly ETO and Pilot planning

Education / Certification:

University degree/ bachelor in chemical engineering or above,

education in rubber and / or polymer technology and processing is highly welcomed.

Professional Experience:

min.5 years of experience in rubber business.

min. 3 years of experience in manufacturing company.

the will to acquire experience in rubber business is valid as well

Project and/or Process Experience:

experience in the processing of polymer materials would be useful, but not mandatory, interest in that field of work is more important

Basics of project management would be useful. Can be learned in Continental.

Intercultural / International Experience:

experience in international teams is highly welcomed.
