The Ideal candidate must be motivated to learn and routinely practice excellent calibration techniques, the work is intricate mechanical assembly work that requires a level of calibration and fitting. You ideally will be competent in reading drawings and working to build procedures and ideally possess skills around basic engineering competencies, fine assembly, calibration and test procedures

The Assembler Calibrator will be:

· Responsible for the rework and modifications to various components in accordance to IPC Standards.

· Entering data and maintaining accurate records of test and services performed.

· Assisting and providing hands-on assembly and manufacture of products as required.

· Performing a range of routine mechanical and/or electromechanical assembly of small parts or components in accordance with company instructions and procedures.

· Updating and maintaining business information systems as appropriate.

· Conducting and calibrating test routines at sub- assembly and GA levels

· Completing calibrations and/or assembly of products to meet quality and performance requirements

· Must have a methodical and analytic approach to work

· Well organised, detail oriented and ability to multi task

· Familiar with the use if a wide range of mechanical tools, test and measurement equipment

· Ability to ready read and interpret technical drawings, wiring and circuit diagrams and technical publications

· Good written and verbal communication

· Competent user of Microsoft packages including Word, Excel & PowerPoint

· Strong team player!
