We are seeking a strong and motivated a QA engineer to join our multicultural, creative and fast-paced team in Eindhoven. As QA engineer for our edge data collection, you will be responsible for defining, implementing and executing software quality assurance processes and test cases, and collaborate with our engineering teams to guarantee the overall quality of our solutions. You will be part of a SCRUM squad interacting day by day with software developers, software analysts and the Product Owner, as well as with customer facing teams to resolve quality issues.

Responsibilities:

· Define, implement and execute quality assurance strategies and test cases

· Participate in the software validation phase implementing manual and automated test cases to ensure absolute quality of product releases.

· Develop automated test scenarios based on product specifications provided by product and engineering teams.

· Troubleshoot validation pipeline issues and report and document the defects found.

· Lead resolution processes of customer escalations.

What You Offer Forescout:

Professional skills:

· A Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or related discipline, or equivalent work experience.

· Strong understanding of software testing principles and methodologies, including at least 2 years’ experience in software product validation and testing.

· Good knowledge of test automation frameworks: e.g Cypress, Selenium, Playwright, etc.

· Good understanding of the networking and/or network security.

· Good knowledge of Linux OS is a must.

· Network equipment administration expertise is a plus

· You are familiar with Ansible or Python or both programming language.

· You are familiar with cloud and virtualization technologies, such as Azure, AWS and GCP.

· You are familiar with SCRUM methodology.

Personal skills:

· Team player, with the ability to collaborate effectively with global teams in a Scrum/Agile team.

· Excellent attention to detail in identifying software defects and ensuring product quality.

· Excellent analytic and troubleshooting skills for problems that span multiple domains (applications, network, system).

· Strong organizational skill, high degree of ownership, and responsibility to manage multiple tasks, meet deadlines, and prioritize testing efforts efficiently.

· Strong written and verbal communication skills.

· Eagerness to learn and stay updated on emerging technologies, testing methodologies, and industry trends.

· Fluent in spoken and written English.
