Our Electrical Division is looking for an Application Engineer to drive pre-sales efforts in promoting, architecting and applying relevant technology content in assistance to Sales Engineers for Utility and Renewables Large project segments.

As an Application Engineer you will lead customer facing technical interventions and establish a trusted advisor relationship with decision makers and internal stakeholders towards meeting Eaton revenue goals in Iberia region.

What you’ll do:

  • Present technical papers and create technical content for social media and marketing needs in the form of case studies or technical notes.

  • Participate in technical and/or standards comitees.

  • Supports Marketing function in developing functional requirements as per evolving regional markets needs.

  • Provide competitors capability analysis.

  • Provide internal trainings to sales / support teams , and also to technology partners and value-added resellers.

  • Develop prototype solutions and demonstrate Eaton solutions on premises or through virtual sessions

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor in Electrical Engineering

  • Master degree would be a plus

  • Between 3 and 5 years related experience

Skills:

  • Solid technical knowledge of Power Systems (MV and LV) including understanding of industrial control systems and communications.

  • Eager to learn and develop technical competences

  • Structured approach to problem solving and performance monitoring

  • Fluent in written and spoken English and Spanish.

  • Knowledge in Sales Force or other CRM applications, and SAP

  • Challenging projects in dynamic collaborative team
