Cyber, Electronic Warfare and Space (CEWS) team is looking to hire a Sr. Software Engineer to lead a team to design, develop, and test application software to fulfill unique requirements on Windows, Unix, or other specified platforms. Building Graphical User Interfaces (GUIs) for custom applications. Responding to evolving requirements in an agile environment.

Essential Job Responsibilities

As a Sr. Software Engineer, you will lead a team of SW engineers developing applications in a Unix environment. You will create new novel solutions and/or integrate new features and maintain existing software solutions supporting computer network operations. The work could also support Windows environment using C/C++, C#, COM. The SW development work also requires engineering and coordination across multiple organizations and systems to bring a larger vision to life. Strong technical and development skills are necessary, but there are also frequent periods in which the work will be very systems engineering focused rather than heads down development.

Minimum Qualifications

  • 9 years relevant experience with Bachelors in related field;

  • 7 years relevant experience with Masters in related field;

  • 4 years relevant experience with PhD or Juris Doctorate in related field;

  • High School Diploma or equivalent and 13 years relevant experience.

  • Minimum eight (8) years experience programming with object-oriented programming languages.

  • Minimum five (5) years experience developing Windows applications using Visual Studio or .NET environments OR minimum five (5) years experience developing Unix applications using make files or comparable build environment.

  • Experience developing complex programs using C, C#, C++, Java, or other comparable languages.

  • Minimum three (3) years leading projects that develop complex software, ensuring a collaborative environment, and configuration management.

  • Experience implementing software life cycle management (requirements, design, develop, test, validate, deploy). #LI-SG1

Clearance: Must possess and maintain an active TS/SCI clearance with Polygraph

Preferred Requirements

  • Current or previous low-level network programming experience.

  • High-level programming language like Python, JAVA or Ruby.

  • Experience in static and dynamic reverse engineering, vulnerability research, binary analysis of executables, exposure to kernel programming, exposure with assembly languages, and/or ability to analyze and signature network protocols.

  • Experience with Wireshark, IDA Pro and/or Ghidra.

  • Experience in CNE development

  • Experience with JSON, JSON schema, XML, XSD

  • Understanding of system engineering principles.
